What does it mean to be part of the Coalition?

The Coalition was founded by governments, for governments, to move forward on key policy priorities. As such, governments and regional bodies that have signed the Declaration of Commitment are the members of this Coalition and the centre of gravity for this initiative.

Currently, the Coalition comprises of 113 countries, 6 regional bodies, and over 160 partners.

Of this, over 70 governments have established national commitments to enhancing and scaling national programmes. Nearly 50 member states also submitted national progress reports directly to the Coalition Secretariat between May and August 2025, providing a consolidated account of how countries are advancing their national school meal programmes.
